This is referring to the Tefillin. When the Jewish nation wears Tefillin the enemy of the Jewish people will flee.

The Tefillin Campaign

In 1967, preceding the Six Day War, the Lubavitcher Rebbe introduced a campaign to don tefillin with all Jews.

As our brothers and sisters are called up to the front-lines in droves to protect Israel, we have the ability here in the US and around the world to protect them and the rest of the Jewish nation.

OUR CAMPAIGN:
With your help, we will reach every Jewish man / boy over Bar Mitzvah in our community to OWN their very own personal pair a pair of Tefillin.

Let’s show the world that in the face of tragedy, we don't weaken but rather unite and strengthen each other, reaffirming our belief and trust in G-d that we will come out not just victorious but with open miracles.

The NESHEK Campaign

Neshek is the Hebrew word for Weapons – Ammunition.

It is also an acronym for Neirot Shabbat Kodesh (Shabbat Candles). The strongest weapon that we the Jewish people have is when the women, the mothers and daughters of Israel light the Shabbos Candles we defeat the darkness with light and give strength to the physical weapons of the IDF to protect our people.

In 1974, the Rebbe started the Mitzvah Neshek Campaign. All Jewish women and girls from the age of three, should light the Shabbos and Holiday Candles. This would ensure that each Friday, more light would be brought into the world. People from all over the world wanted to be a part of this widespread force of good.
